With Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee for President, the glaring hypocrisy of the Democrats and their media allies is impossible to ignore. They shamelessly whitewash her controversial views on illegal immigration while attempting to align these with the party’s broader agenda. This struggle starkly mirrors their ongoing efforts to downplay President Biden’s troubling cognitive decline.

Recently, progressive Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren laid bare this dilemma on CNN’s “State of the Union,” advocating for “comprehensive immigration reform.” Her proposal, essentially a backdoor amnesty for about 11 million illegal immigrants, has garnered enthusiastic backing from Harris, who has pledged that as president, she “will work with Congress to get that done.” This unwavering commitment to such a divisive issue highlights Harris’s blatant hypocrisy.

From day one, the Biden-Harris administration aggressively pursued a radical immigration reform agenda. Their flagship initiative, the “U.S. Citizenship Act,” aimed to hand citizenship to nearly every illegal immigrant, even those with serious criminal records. It even proposed allowing individuals deported under Trump to return to the U.S., while crippling immigration enforcement and dramatically increasing future legal immigration quotas. This raises serious red flags about national security and economic stability.

It’s no surprise that public support for these extreme measures has plummeted as the U.S. faces an unprecedented surge of unvetted illegal migrants crossing the Southwest border, driven by the lure of potential amnesty and government benefits. This crisis has alarmed many voters, forcing congressional Democrats to backtrack on their ambitions. Still, they persist in pushing for a limited amnesty affecting around 6.5 million illegal immigrants, a proposal ultimately blocked by the nonpartisan Senate parliamentarian. This highlights the legislative hurdles and internal divisions within the party. Had this proposal moved forward, Harris would likely have cast the deciding vote in a closely divided Senate. That’s the real danger Harris’ candidacy as President represents for the country.

In November 2022, amid the ongoing border crisis, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer stood on the Capitol steps, demanding amnesty for “Dreamers.” His fervent plea showcases the party’s desperate attempt to cling to a progressive immigration stance, despite growing public skepticism. Meanwhile, Republicans have not hesitated to expose Harris’s duplicity. Her past calls to dismantle Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and her advocacy for a “fresh start” reveal a politician willing to pander to the left, regardless of the consequences for national security and economic stability. The National Republican Senatorial Committee aptly branded her the “border czar,” underscoring her consistent support for a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants—a stance the Biden-Harris campaign conveniently avoids discussing in public.

Now, adding insult to injury, Harris is brazenly attempting to shift the blame for border security failures onto Republicans, claiming they resisted stronger measures. This audacious attempt to rewrite history is yet another example of the Democrats’ and media’s relentless effort to recast Harris  as a moderate, hoping that the public will accept this messaging without question.
